The Charming Acapulco

Panoramic Acapulco, Mexico

Not too long ago was my first time traveling to Acapulco. One of the most important touristic destinations in Mexico, thanks to its proximity to Mexico City. I couldn't contain the excitement of visiting Acapulco for the first time, I felt I was part of my own telenovela because since very little I knew about Acapulco from Mexican telenovelas (soap operas). Peculiarly the ones I watched in Colombia before moving to the United States. Telenovelas such as La Usurpadora and Codigo Postal to name a few.

Getting to Acapulco is a 4 hour drive from Mexico City, full of delicious food stops and desertic mountains. Once you get to the city, you will start seeing beautiful panoramic views and scary roads as the whole city sits on big mountains. Something that makes the coastal city much more special.

These pictures were taken at Diamond Award winning Luxury Boutique Hotel "El Encanto"; Which means "The charm." It has a breathtaking 360 view of Acapulco, a restaurant listed among the best in Mexico and incredible architecture. The romantic El Encanto is a must visit whenever you go to Acapulco. You will be in love.
