I wanted to put together a visual summary of what we've seen in Milan Fashion Fashion week including my favorite runway looks exclusively for my readers. Enjoy!
Enporio Armani Spring Summer 2018
Loose fitting pants & shiny fabrics strut the runway. I liked the use of grey with more vivid color combinations such as red/grey or and burgundy/grey.
There were also a few jumper looks, I know we are all expecting to see more of in 2018.
The highlight of the show was Shawn Mendez whose become the face of Emporio Armani to appeal to a younger audience. "Shawn embodies and conveys the values in which I believe: Professionalism, commitment, and innovation.” Armani said.
Dolce & Gabbana SS18
Being one of the most anticipated shows every year for Milan Fashion Week. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have to play the cards right to give us what we want. This year they showcased the mix of patterns including card inspired prints and even had some Youtubers waked the runway for them.
Ermenegildo Zegna SS18
The Italian house famous for its impeccable aesthics and craftsmanship presented us with a very interesting autumn-like color scheme full of warm shades like tan, red and burgundy.
Diesel Black Gold SS18
Athletic meets urban in Andres Melbostad's collection for Diesel Black Gold. I especially liked the biker inspired jackets in innovative colors like mint. The predomantly Black leather collection featured different shades of blues like mint and turquoise.
Marcelo Burlon SS18
Rebel rebel, your face is no mess! I can't think of a better word to describe Marcelo's bold Spring Summer Collection. It reminds me of late 90's rock videos with a little of what we see hip hop artists wearing these days.
Versace Spring Summer 2018
The collection pays tribute to Donatella's older brother, Gianni's love for pinstripes suits. I need to highlight the clever implementation of the most popular colors in menswear today; light pink and blue in monochrome looks. So fabulous, so Versace!
